I graduated in 1999 from NIAOM (Northwest Institute of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine) where I learned Chinese and several Japanese styles of acupuncture. I earned a Master’s degree in Acupuncture and East Asian Medicine and have national certification in acupuncture. I went on to study cranial sacral techniques and other Japanese modalities. Additional clinical training includes moxibustion, cupping and electro-acupuncture.
I opened my own practice in 1999 with a focus on pain management, mental health, digestive disorders and women’s health. Unlike many traditional Chinese Medicine practitioners I stay in the treatment room the entire session and continually adjust the treatment to work with the patient’s responses.
